'Kempingas slėnyje' is located in the territory of Trakai historical national park, on the Galvė lake strand. It is a reconstructed homestead of Totoriškiai village, which is in the north-east of Trakai region, called 'the manor' by the locals. In the old days, Totoriškiai village was a part of Užutrakis manor.

In the 15th century, the lands by Galvė lake, near Užutrakis belonged to Tatars, and the whole strand was called Algirdas island. The name of Totoriškiai village and manor comes back from those times.

The Tatars lived not only in Trakai – Dūdkalnis, where their main colony was, but also in Užutrakis, where they had two farmsteads, which were received from Vytautas, the Grand Duke of Lithuania. Later, they were bought by a Tatar Tomas Zatrockis (Užtrakiškis), after having been joined together by some other owner.

The history of the Tatar nation in Totoriškiai manor is important to these days... Hear and taste the history during a trip or a tasting of the Tatar culinary heritage.
